“How do I figure out my purpose in life?” This is the question I hear often after speaking engagements and events. I don’t claim to have a single answer. And while there are plenty of life coaches, preachers, authors, and gurus at the ready to help get you there; discovering your “purpose-work” is a road you have to travel, not an equation you can apply.
What I do know is that understanding our identity helps us uncover our purpose. When we have clarity about who we are, we are better equipped to discern what brings us fulfillment and how we can contribute to society uniquely and meaningfully. Today, I am sharing five concepts that I’ve gleaned from the wisdom of those further down the path than me, and have since applied in discovering my own purpose.
